How to find groups membership for a specific user via LDAP query

Finding groups membership of a user on Active Directory with more than one domain can be time wasting.

Here a LDAP query that do this job.

Just past the code above (LDAP query) on “Active Directory User and Computer” custom search.
Remember to select the scope of search and to substitute “cn=it8746,ou=Users,ou=BRI,ou=OM,dc=D800,dc=mh,dc=grp” with the DN of the user that you to find.

(&(objectCategory=group)(groupType:1.2.840.113556.1.4.804:=2147483648)(member=cn=it8746,ou=Users,ou=BRI,ou=OM,dc=D800,dc=mh,dc=grp))
