How to set windows border trasparency on UBUNTU

In Ubuntu you can set window borders with alpha transparency as available in Windows 7 with this steps:
  1. run gconf-editor
  2. Browse to apps > gwd
  3. Change the value in “metacity_theme_active_opacity” from 1 to 0.75 or smaller for more transparency.
  4. install compizconfig-settings-manager
  5. Via compizconfig-settings-manager activate “blur windows”
